Some areas in the CRCDC are prone to natural disasters and man-made calamities. Almost every year we face challenges of emergency relief and rehabilitation. The recent natural calamity was cyclone “Phailin” that ravaged the coastal areas of Odisha, a part of it. CRCDC provides relief and rehabilitation support which includes Non Food Items such as Tarpaulins, Sleeping Mat, Rope, Sanitary clothe, Aqua Tab, Clothes, Utensils and the rehabilitation support includes low cost housing, livelihood recovery support.
