A Spanish Vincentian Priest

Arriving in Orissa was stepping into a whole new world for us. We were aware of the shoes we had to fill – the MSFS missionaries had done remarkable work here. There was apprehension, of course, about whether we could connect with the local community as effectively. However, the warmth and acceptance we received were overwhelming. Every day was a learning experience, bridging cultural divides and deepening our understanding of the universal Church. It was our mission to continue the work started by our French brothers, and I believe we have honored that commitment.
